On March 1, 2025, The Rooted Growth Collective hosted a virtual financial literacy workshop tailored for foster youth in Georgia. Essential topics such as budgeting, saving, building and maintaining credit, obtaining loans, and introduction to investing were discussed to introduce them to foundational knowledge for personal finance. We successfully accomplished our goal to demystify financial planning, equip participants with practical money management skills, and empower them to make informed financial decisions.  

The engagement from the youth was outstanding—they actively participated, took notes, and asked insightful questions throughout the entire session. To further support their financial journeys, The Rooted Growth Collective provided each participant with an initial investment in a stock of their choice, reinforcing the importance of early investing.
